Progress on Elvis is trundling on at a slow, steady and expensive pace, it sometimes feels like I’m actually buying a Volkswagen one piece at a time. Nipples and booties are the latest addtion to he kitchen floor, much to the dismay of Sam.
This past weekend has seen the front bumper go back on while the rear one eventually came off (to the relief of the neighbours who had probably had enough of my blue language by then). The new horn sounds fab and I can’t wait to use it in anger in a residential area whilst travelling at speed. Also in place are the new rubber exhaust mounts.
Next week will bring the CV action - more bootie mayhem.
