This morning Lee went to pay Albert a visit and pick up his new iDi engine, and I went to have my hair cut. When I got back he was in the back garden covered in oil and filth, wearing a big grin.
Strewn around him were more bits of blackened metal and sticky rubber than could ever possibly fit in an engine bay, but I was assured that they would all go into a Mk1 Caddy no problem. I propose a forfeit system, whereby for every part that can’t be used, I get a new pair of shoes.
I’v just had a look through the few snaps that Lee took whilst butchering that poor car, and I rather like the look of the missmatched Vietnamese remoulds it’s wearing, I havn’t seen tyres like that for a long time. I’m not that keen on the big guy with the gas axe’s gentle art of engine removal. I’m also slightly worried about the way it looks like Lee didn’t so much drive it home, as drag it.
it was a oily filthy day and i had to then do a bloody night shift! Still at least it didnt happen on my drive
